Row 25, Plots 9 & 10, CLEMENT, James Edward & Wilma (Appling)



Wilma Lee, 46, was the daughter of Harvey N and Alma Ginnett Appling.  She was married to James Edward Clement.  They were the parents of Larry Edward Clement and James Harvey Clement who are both buried in Clement Cemetery. 

James Edward Clement, 84, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at home surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 3, 1926, in Cleveland County, Arkansas, to the late James Garland Clement and Chloe Lites Clement. 

He was a World War II United States Navy veteran who served as a Navy gunner's mate and was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church.  Mr. Clement retired as a Chief System Dispathcher for Middle South Utilities after 41 years of service. 

He is survived by his wife Hope Clement; brother N.H. Clement and wife Marie of Athens, Alabama; sister Martha Eastwood of DeWitt, Arkansas; daughter SuSu Zenisek and husband Joseph of Wichita, Kansas; grandchildren Zack Clement, Lindsey Prescott, Dr. Joseph Zenisek, Emily Zenisek-Tucker, Matthew Zenisek, Frank Zenisek and Cole Zenisek; and great-grandchild Payne Clement Prescott. 

He was preceded in death by his three sons, Larry Edward Clement, James Harvey Clement, and Wing Collins Tichenor;  the mother of his children, Wilma Appling Clement; and his brother, Thomas Carroll Clement.  

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 2:00p.m. at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Rev Buddy Ratliff and Rev. Pam Estes officiating.  Burial follows at Clement Cemetery in Grapevine, Arkansas.

Visitation will be Monday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
