Row 1

There are 22 plots in this row.  Of those most are reservation for the future.  Two are reserved with headstones.  Two people are buried in this row and the other headstone is placed in reservation. 


This row is the one nearest to the road just South of the Chapel.  Bodies were laid to rest with their feet towards the rising Sun in the East and their heads towards the setting Sun in the West.   

About a dozen graves in various rows chose to be buried the opposite direction; heads to the East, feet towards the West.  So far no one has been able to explain the reason for that.  Maybe they wanted to be facing the beautiful huge pine trees in the West.
