Row 3, Plots 7 & 8, WALKER, Euel L. & Myrtie C.


Euel 61, died at JRMC.  He was the son of Johnny N. and Maggie Hendrix Walker.  He was a native of Beebe, Arkansas.  He attended school at England, Akansas and moved to Pine Bluff about 1928.  He was a retired barber.  He was a member of Central Baptist Church and a member of Jacob Brump Masonic Lodge.

His funeral was at Ralph Robinsons with Rev. Ben Wofford and Robert Stales (officiating).

He and Myrtie Clement were married March 14, 1930.  She died at the age of 85.  she was born at Lamon, Grant Co. the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Martha Jane Watts Clement.  She was reared and educated at Grapevine.  She worked as a hostess for several restaurants in Pine Bluff.  She was a charter member of Central Baptist Church. 

Euel and Myrtie had one son, James Durwood Walker and one daughter, Martha Louis Walker Gage Rackley.  

Funeral services were at Ralph Robinsons with Rev Gary Akers and Jessie reed officiating.  

(Myrtie told me when Dad (Lavon Clement) was born, she was about 12 years old and she had asked, Martin and Hattie if she could name him Martin Lavon and they agreed).
