Mathie 92, of Grapevine died at JRMC. He was born in Grant Co. son of John Franklin and Mary Cordell Smith Clement. He was a retired cattle farmer, timberman and construction workder. He was a member of Sardis MB Church. The oldest member of Taylor Lodge #206. His funeral was by Hale-South at Sardis MB Curch with Rev. Cecil Shepherd and Dale Gentry officiating.
Mathie and Eunice were married July 3, 1921 (73 years). They had one daughter Sara Beth Clement Stevens.
Eunice was 95 when she died at the Cleveland Co Nursing Home at Rison, AR. She was the daughter of Clarence "Charlie" Gray and Ella Files Bradford, Sr. She was a homemaker. A member and Sunday School teacher at Sardis MB Church, a member of Union Number 40 Order of the Eastern Star for more than 50 years.
Graveside services were held by Hale-South Funeral home with Dr. Dennis Falasco officiating.
