Row 6, Plot 21 & 22, BLACKERBY, Laurens Harp & Fannie Bell (Carr)

Fannie Bell, 75, of Ava, Missouri formerly of Watson Chapeldied at St. Johns Hospital in Springdale, MO.  She was a retired nurse.  Fannie was the daughter of Benjamin Harlston and Ursula Davis Carr.

She was a member of Ava United Methodist Church.  Her funeral was at Hale-South with Rev. Dale Gentry officiating.  

She and Laurens were married April 21, 1932.  They had one son, Donnie Gene Blackerby.  

Laurens, 92, also of Ava, Missouri, formerly of Watson Chapel, died at St. Johns Hospital.  He was born at Lamont, Arkansas.  He was the son of Harper Erwin and Mary Ella Clement Blackerby.

He was a member of Ava United Methodist Church and a member of Taylor Lodge.  He was a retired foreman for Fox Lumber Company.  

His funeral service was with Hale-South.
