Row 6, Plot 24 & 25, BLACKERBY, Ernest Laurens & Henretta "Etta" (Clement)

Ernest was the son of Joseph Laurens and Mattie Ellis Blackerby.  He was born and raised in Grant County.  

In their later years Ernest and Etta moved to the Watson Chapel area in a house trailer to be near their daughter Ernestine and he died there.  

Etta was the daughter of Noah C. and Virginia Lybrand Clement.  She was born and raised in Grant County after Ernest's death she moved to La Grange, Illinois to be with her daughter Lorene and she died at her home.  

They had two daughters, Ernestine Blackerby Clement and Lorene Blackerby Ray and an infant son who died in 1923.
