Jessie was 27 when he died.  He was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Martha Jane Watts Clement.  He was born at Grapevine, Grant County.  

He was married Eva Pierce on June 24, 1915.  They had one son, Truman Clement.  

Eva Pierce was born near Rison the daughter of Frank and Ada Agnes Blackwell Pierce..

After Jessse's death she married Edwin Pierce in 1920.  He was the son of Issac and Fannie Morgan Pierce.  They are buried in Black Cemetery near the Grant-Cleveland County line.  

Edwin and Eva had three children, Bennie Jean Pierce Blackerby, Milfred "Red" Pierce and Ada Mae Pierce Green.
