Mannie 60, a carman for the Cotton Belt RR died at his home in Grapevine. He was a native of Grant Co., born to John Franklin an Mary Cornelia Smith Clement. He was a Baptist and a member of Taylor Lodge #206 at Grapevine.
He married Florence Cearley July 14, 1918. They had four sons, Aaron James "Short", Veo Manson Big", James C. "Toots", and Jerald "Chub" Clement and three daughters Johnnie Mildred Clement Baker Smith, Betty Clement Deveny Hokins, and Anna Mae Clement Garner Crawford spears.
Funeral services were at Clement Chapel by Rev Tommy Krank, John Saunders and Raymond Fitzgerald. Graveside Masonic service was conducted at Clement Cemetery.
