Ara was 29 when she died.  She was the daughter of Joe Boyd and Sophia Hartsell Black.  First wife of Oscar Ashley "Punk" Clement.  They were married on November 27, 1915.  

She was a sister of Beatrice "Bea" Black Clement.  They had 10 children.
