Row 7, Plot 11, WAFFORD, Herman O.

Herman 83, lived on his parents home place on Garden Seed Road at Grapevine.  He died at JRMC.  His parents were Oscar and Mary Reed Wafford.  He was born in Grapevine and received his education there.  He received a degree in Agriculture from A&M College at Monticello and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He retired from the Cotton Belt RR..   He was a Mason and a Shriner.  

He was married to and divorced from Mildred Wells Wafford (she passed away Dec 31, 1994 and is buried in Graceland Cemetery, Pine Bluff, AR).   They had one daughter, Mary Carolyn Wafford Smith.  

Ralph Robinson and son Funeral home was in charge of the graveside service held by Rev. Mack Chambers from Olive St. Missionary Baptist Church.
