Margarrett was 72 years old when she died. She was born and raised in Grant County. She was married to James Andrew Lowe. they had a son, Handy Kite Loew and two daughters, Sarah Minnie Lowe and Lucinda Lowe.
She and her husband raised the children of Sarah Elizabeth Waddle and Handy L. Reed. they were Margaret "Mattie" Reed Fikes, Lucinda Lou" Reed Spharler, "Annie" Reed Crosby, Mary Reed Wafford, and Virginia "Virgie" Reed Wells. (Audra & Martha Clement's notes)
