Ernest "Ernie" Truman Clement, 59, of Grapevine, died Friday, August 17, 2012.

He was born February 26, 1953, in Monticello, son of Truman and Ernestine Blackerby Clement.  

Mr. Clement was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Watson Chapel High School.  

He and his wife, Juanita, owned and operated Ernie's Auto Clinic, formerly Ernie's Exxon.  

Ernie was a member of Good Faith Carr United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Mr. Clement was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Martindale Clement, whom he married June 20, 1975, in Pine Bluff, son, Herman T. Clement of Pine Bluff, daughter, Wendy Scallion and her husband, Robert of Pine Bluff; and three grandchildren, Ryan Clement, Dusty Scallion and Zoe Scallion.  

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m.,  Tuesday, August 21, 2012, in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral directors with Reverend Mike Wilkie officiating .  Burial will follow in Clement Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Robinson's.
