Ernestine 74, died at JRMC. She was born at Grapevine the daughter of Ernest and Etta Clement Blackerby. She was a graduate of Grapevine High School. she was a member of Good Faith Methodist Church. Her funeral was held at Clement Cemetery Chapel with Rev Marsha Dodd officiating.
Ernestine was married to Truman Clement Jan 17, 1939. They had one son Ernest "Ernie" Clement.
Truman died at the age of 81 at JRMC. He was the son of Eva Pierce (buried at Black Cemetery) and Jesse Lee Clement. Jesse died when Truman was an infant. Later Eva married Edwin Pierce who helped raise Truman.
Truman received his education at Grapevine schools. He served in the Army during World War II. He owned and operated Clement Plumbing Company in Pine Bluff, AR.. He was a member of Good Faith Methodist Church.
His funeral service was by Ralph Robinson's at Clement Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Donnie Lee Ruffin officiating.
